Professional Experience

My unwavering commitment to advancing technology, coupled with the extensive experience, makes me renowned in the world of research and innovation. Under my leadership, the journey of exploration and discovery in materials science will surely continue to flourish.

  1. Materials Scientist at SHARE LLC, Baton Rouge, USA (Jun. 2012 – Nov. 2012): During this tenure, I focused on the development of 5V battery cathodes and nonaqueous asymmetric hybrid supercapacitors (NAS), integrating the advantages of Li-ion batteries and supercapacitors.
  1. R&D Group Leader at Chantilly BioPharma LLC, Chantilly, USA (Dec. 2012 – Oct. 2013): I actively participated in cross-functional teams, contributing to the development and commercialization of APAP and Ibuprofen microspheres. A vital role was played by me in designing project plans for orally disintegrating tablet (ODT) products.
  1. Research Scientist at Texas Biochemicals Inc, College Station, USA (Oct. 2013 – Dec. 2015): I focused on the synthesis and characterization of ZnS nanoparticles and Sr4.8Yb0.2(PO4)3F for optical ceramic applications. My responsibilities extended to proposal development and writing grants to submit to national funding agencies, showcasing the comprehensive approach to research.
  1. Principal Scientist at Avomeen LLC, Ann Arbor, MI, USA (Jan. 2016 – Nov. 2022): I have spearheaded the preparation and characterization of separators, high-capacity anode and cathode materials, and thermally stable electrolytes for Li-ion batteries and supercapacitors. My contributions also included the synthesis of Strontium Aluminate green phosphor crystals for photo-charging lithium-ion batteries and failure analysis of electrochemical devices using GCMS. Formulation of consumer products and reverse engineering of Pharma and consumer products by using GCMS, GC-FID, FTIR, and HPLC techniques.
  1. Chief Scientist/CEO (Dec 2022 – Present): In my current role as Chief Scientist and CEO, Dr. Channu is dedicated to developing semi-solid-state electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries and synthesizing metal sulphide nano powders for optical ceramic applications. His visionary leadership continues to drive innovation in the field of materials science, positioning him as a critical influencer in the industry.
